TRINBAGO KNIGHT RIDERS defeated JAMAICAN TALLAWAHS by 9 wickets & marked their 11th victory on the trail in the first CPL SEMI-FINAL on Tuesday. Kieron Pollard's team was holistic obvious from the beginning. After winning the toss, the Knight Riders chose the bowl first, starting with a wicket.

The game was in their hands right from the beginning of the race as TKR bowlers led by Akeal Hosein began to take wickets once the phrase “GO” was uttered, and never let the opponents settle in.

Tallawahs designated a 108-run benchmark for their competitors, who surpassed it with ease; a half-century contribution by Lendl Simmons. TRINBAGO KNIGHT RIDERS finished the championship with nine wickets and 30 leftover balls.

TRINAGO KNIGHT RIDERS starter Lendl Simmons' scored a brace 54 off 44. The Windies batsman knitted a 97-run stand with Tion Webster, who didn't make 44 out of 43. Mujeeb Ur Rahman caught only 1 wicket for JAMAICAN TALLAWAHS, that of Sunil Narine.

Tallawahs failed to recouped as they scored just 107/7 from a scary beginning.

They dropped four wickets within five overs, then a terrible choice all but slaughtered their vain hope as Andre Russell returned for only two runs.
