Non-quarantined cricketers in the CSK team have TESTED NEGATIVE FOR COVID-19 in the last round

Non-quarantined cricketers in the CSK team have TESTED NEGATIVE FOR COVID-19 in the last round of screening.

For the 1st time in UAE, CRICKETERS will now be permitted to hit the training pitch.

Since the current updates, CSK is predicted to open against MUMBAI INDIANS in the IPL 2020.

CSK camp sighed in relief with the news, that has

been under turmoil ever since Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad tested positive for COVID-19.

The CONTROL BOARD FOR CRICKET IN INDIA (BCCI) has notified the franchise informally that they will be playing in the series opener vs MUMBAI INDIANS on 19 September.

The ambiguity of the circumstance ignited theories that CHENNAI SUPER KINGS could be substituted by ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE in the opening fixture against the defending champs of Mumbai Indians.

Fortunately, the board is pleased with the result that, despite Chahar and Gaikwad had tested positive, there was no further concern in the CSK team. The committee is now officially willing to go forward with initial schedule proposals.

It was also believed that cricketers in the CSK team had requested that their match against Mumbai be rescheduled due to the COVID-19 issue, but it has now been revealed that it was, in turn, the BCCI who wished to wait until the last testing results of the entire team is done with,

However, the lack of preparation appears to be the major concern for CSK. The players have yet to smash the training field while their opponent, the MUMBAI INDIANS, has been practicing the whole week.

While Chahar and Gaikwad have to wait to come back to the game, the headlines of Suresh Raina's exit and the probable absence of Harbhajan Singh has revised down the CSK squad to the bare minimum & that will be a big concern, especially during such times.
